Understanding of your Situation

We shall not commence work unless we have a clear view of your situation, the issues to be addressed, and any primary complications or constraints in play (such as involvement of third parties, timing issues, and the impact of any approvals processes).

Clarity of Engagement

Before commencing work, we shall agree in writing the primary elements of the work to be undertaken. This provides both of us with a clear understanding of what to expect. These elements will include at least the following:

Engagement purpose
Stakeholders to be engaged
Engagement method & approach
Required involvement of client personnel
Deliverables or outcomes
Governance approach and timeframes
Commercial arrangements

Effective Communications

We understand that a successful piece of consulting work involves considerable interaction within the organisation. A clear communications plan will be established as part of the initial framing of the work, covering how the purpose, progress and outcomes will be communicated, and to which audiences. This will be separate from normal project governance activities.

Knowledge of the Topic

We shall not allocate consultants to work unless they are experienced in the type of work being proposed.
